APEX Meeting 19 (First Physical Meeting, 2002)- Second Announcement

 

Dear Colleagues,

 

The APEX/ALPS/ALIST meetings and a special workshop on Ferritic Steels will be held during the week of April 15-19, 2002 (i.e. the week immediately following the ISFNT meeting in San Diego). The meetings will be held at the “San Diego Marriott Del Mar Hotel”. See the note below about the hotel.

 

Overall Schedule of Meetings:

 

Monday – Tuesday (4/15-16): Ferritic Steel Workshop

Monday – Tuesday morning (4/15-16): ALPS Meeting

Tuesday afternoon (4/16): Joint ALPS/APEX/ALIST sessions for “Plasma Edge Modelling and Liquid Surface Temperature Limits.”

Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday Morning (4/17-19): APEX Meeting

Wednesday 3-6 p.m. (4/17): Joint APEX/ALPS/ALIST session on “Options and Issues for Liquid Surface Test Modules in Plasma Devices.”

Hotel:

 

The APEX, ALPS, ALIST and Advanced Ferritic Steel Workshop Meetings will all be held, on-site, at the “San Diego Marriott Del Mar Hotel” the week of April 15 to April 19. A block of rooms has been reserved at the hotel for all participants. The hotel offers a special rate of $126.13 per night for single or double occupancy rooms. This special rate INCLUDES breakfast, all taxes and gratuity. In order to receive the special rate, you must make your reservation before March 13 and be sure to request the special “APEX” meeting rate.
