ReNeW is the acronym for Research Needs Workshop, a planning activity of the
Office of Fusion Energy Sciences. The national ReNeW will convene in June of

Community ReNeW Workshops at UCLA, March 2-6, 2009
The Theme IV - Fusion Power (FP) and Theme III - Plasma Material Interface (PMI) ReNeW themes held their community workshops
March 2 – 6, 2009 at UCLA.
- Monday and Tuesday was dedicated to the FP theme. Leaders: Wayne Meier, Rene Raffray, and Barry Sullivan
- Wednesday was an overlap day
- Thursday and Friday was dedicated to the PMI theme. Leaders: Mike Ulrickson, Rajesh Maingi, and Rostom Dagazian
